Project Controls Lead
Reporting into the PMO Lead, the Project Controls Lead is responsible for working with the AOR operational teams and our project stakeholders and clients to provide leadership and coordinates all aspects of Project Controls including reporting, cost control, progress measurement, schedule development and schedule control.
Monitor execution performance in the area of scheduling, progress monitoring and cost control and provides advice as necessary to make sure the Company’s objectives are achieved.

Other Key Responsibilities
Ensure projects remain aligned with organization goals, objectives and governance
Develop work-breakdown structure (WBS) for each project and align this to Cost Breakdown Structure, programme and project delivery capabilities
Lead the development and updating of project schedules throughout the project lifecycle and develop resource profiles
Developing a risk management plan and report on project risk exposure throughout the project lifecycle and consolidate this across all projects
Prepare project budgeting and forecasting reports, include cashflows and earned value
Optimizing project strategies to enable better outcomes in the future.
About You
Thorough and extensive knowledge of : Project controls principles, theories, concepts and tools
Experience in Project Controls with relevant contract (Lump Sum, Unit Rate, Reimbursable)
Experience in multi-discipline infrastructure, railway projects is an advantage
Experience in detailed planning & schedule analysis for risks and opportunities, including resource loaded schedules and earned value reporting
Strong communication skills (oral & written) including strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally.
Proficient skills in computers : MS Project, Word, Excel, Access, email
Should be proficient and have hands-on experience in programming software Primavera P6 and MS Project
Experience in formulating and reviewing PMO policies and procedures to identify improvement opportunities
High level of personal resilience and persistence
Must be customer focused, team oriented, accountable and results driven.
