Our New Zealand Ambius Business has an exciting new opportunity available for a National Operational and Sales expert to take the next step in their career.
Based in Auckland , you will have the opportunity to showcase your operational experience while balancing day-to-day responsibilities and developing our Ambius Sales and Operations Teams in New Zealand to achieve their full potential.
Our Ambius team are the people responsible for the inspiring plant decor in hotel lobbies, the clusters of plant designs in shopping centres, the green walls and plant displays you see in many restaurants and office receptions as well as bespoke designs in large Corporate Offices.
Our customers range from the largest multinationals and government departments to local restaurants and offices.
This key management position will have a proactive focus on supporting the Operations and Sales aspects of our Ambius division in New Zealand ;
backed by technical interior plantscaping knowledge to drive an increase in customer satisfaction, through providing custom solutions, whilst delivering on our customer promise and ultimately assisting with sales growth.
Reporting directly to the General Manager for Ambius, you will be responsible for the following outcomes :
Support portfolio growth through the development of best practice and project management assistance of large scale project installations
Support a culture of high performance through customer planning and hands on assistance with process
Work with the General Manager, Head of Sales and Marketing Manager to identify opportunities within the markets
Develop and promote a competitive but collaborative atmosphere with fellow team members; sharing ideas, best practice and celebrating success
Provide reports and returns as specified / needed
Maintain a high level of communication with regions to ensure that customers needs and expectations are briefed, understood and effectively implemented
Assist the appropriate stakeholders in completing accurate proposals, contracts, agreements and tender documents appropriate to customers needs
Manage / Support the induction, training and development of all team members
T o be successful in this role, you will need :
Prior experience working within the Plant Hire and / or Horticultural industry preferred
2 + years managing a team of people in the service and sales industry
To be an engaging leader with experience in coaching and developing team members with the willingness to be a hands on leader where required
A holistic approach to drive sales and service together as a team
Ability to focus and have a flexible approach when faced with change, completing priorities and work demands
Demonstrated commercial acumen to manage budgets and costs
Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
A commitment to safety and a proven track record in building a safety culture
Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering against targets and KPIs
The ability to positively challenge the status quo and champion continuous improvement, in order to deliver on our customer promise
