HEB Construction is seeking an Asset Performance Technician to join the Asset Performance Team within the ASM. The ASM is an alliance between HEB Construction, Fulton Hogan and Waka Kotahi to maintain and operate the Auckland State Highway network.

In this role you will provide engineering support across the full range of ASM assets and ensure all maintenance and operational activities are completed in a timely manner and to a high quality.

  • Maintenance and operational activities include but are not limited to inspections; investigations; safety, quality and environmental activities;
  • scheduling; procurement; asset assessment; engineering design; drawing production; and project liaison activities.In this role you will be exposed to world class asset management and an insight into a wide variety of engineering fields.

    This role is suited to early career engineers. You will work closely with experienced staff and will be encouraged to train, learn and utilise self-motivation and intuition to assist in developing project solutions in line with the ASM alliance pillars.

  • In this role you will be responsible for : Assisting in asset inspection and investigation regime for the full range of asset typesDeveloping written reports documenting asset conditionDeveloping safety documentation including Traffic Management PlansDeveloping design works information packages and drawingsParticipating in safety in design meetings;
  • toolbox talks; team meetings and presentationsWorking with delivery team to manage construction and maintenance worksYou will have : NCEA L3 or equivalent in English and MathsFull class 1 drivers' licenceA diploma or bachelors degree in engineering is desirablePractical experience in the industry is beneficialOn the job training will include construct safe, basic TC / STMS L1, working at heights, confined space, EWP and much more.
