About the Role :
We are looking for a passionate IT professional to join our Software Development team in a fully remote role based anywhere in NZ.
As a Senior DevOps Engineer in our team, you will be working across our complex multi technology environment where you will be implementing automation, monitoring and management solutions.
You'll also be working across multiple teams to lead the design and delivery of CI / CD pipelines across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities :
Analyse business and technical requirements and provide recommendations for automation, testing and delivery.
Lead the design, development and maintenance of build, test, and deployment architecture in the cloud.
Lead the design and implementation of highly secure, scalable, and supportable solutions
Engage and build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
About You :
You will have excellent leadership and problem-solving skills and you will also be passionate about innovation and collaboration across multi-disciplinary teams.
Ideal Skills & Experience :
Solid experience using cloud-based platforms like AWS
Extensive experience with Docker and Linux
Solid level of programming fundamentals and experience with languages like Python / JavaScript
Competent in delivering, integrating, and maintaining DevOps toolchains in a complex multi technology environment in an agile manner
Advanced software and system security skills as well as 7+ years working in software automation or a similar role
Strong leadership and communication skills
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
