Role Purpose :
To increase profitability of the Branch by providing exceptional customer service to all customers who visit or communicate with the Branch and by completing sales transactions, receipting in of inward goods, including dispatching ordered stock effectively and efficiently.
Key Relationships :
The Inside Sales person is focused on providing exceptional service and sales to customers who visit or communicate with the Branch.
The Inside Sales person works closely with the their direct report and all branch staff, sales teams and some members of the Head Office team.
Key Objectives :
The Inside Sales person is responsible for :
Providing exceptional customer service to all customers who visit the branch or communicate with the branch by telephone, email or other methods.
Completing effective and efficient sales transactions to customers accurately and without unreasonable delay.
Receipting in of inward goods in an accurate manner.
Ensuring all customer orders are accurately picked and dispatched without delay.
All duties must be carried out safely and in accordance with the companies Health and Safety policy all appropriate Health and safety laws.
Key accountability include :
Customers who visit the Branch are greeted and proactively offered assistance without delay.
All communication is answered without delay and with a friendly and positive manner. Answer the telephone with the following : Good morning / afternoon, Redpaths, Powerbase, (your name) speaking?
Provides information, resolves problems and answers questions quickly and with a focus on exceptional customer service.
All sales transactions are completed with customers effectively and efficiently with a focus on exceptional customer service.
Ensures all orders and sales are logged into the relevant systems (Lentune, CRM, Office365, BambooHR etc) accurately and in a timely manner.
Ensures all stock is accurately picked, packed / unpacked and dispatched to customers as requested and without delay.
Manages all stock returns and errors to ensure correct or replacement stock is delivered to the customer without delay and as a matter of priority.
Delivers stock as appropriate to customers to ensure customer expectations and service levels are met.
Inwards stock is unpacked into the stock area in a timely and accurate manner.
Ensures all stock administration is undertaken in an accurate and timely manner including appropriate information entered into the Lentune system, i.
e. bin location, stock counts and correct labelling.
Ensures stock is maintained in a tidy and orderly format so that all stock items remain in saleable condition always.
Branch Assistance :
To help train and support specified Redpaths staff so they can provide support in the promotion of products when needed
Ensures the store and counter area is clean, tidy and well-ordered at all times.
Assists with all Branch activities.
Attends and participates in Health & Safety and Branch meetings.
Undertakes any other tasks as may be reasonably requested by the Branch Manager.
