    We are actively recruiting nurses who have completed their Bachelor of Nursingto join our dedicated teams to help make a difference to all New Zealandersaccessing services.

    This New Entry to Specialist Practice (NESP)programme will give you the opportunity to follow a career in mental health,addictions and intellectual disability nursing.

    Working with us you will have good opportunitiesfor professional development and progression.

    As a NESP RN, you will be offered a 72 hour afortnight fixed term contract that coincides with the tertiary educationcalendar to enable you to take paid study leave to complete the academicrequirements of the programme.

    You will be offered two rotations within theservices which may include adult, youth, older adult, forensic, community,early intervention, intellectual disabilities, Maori mental health or HealthPasifika.

    We partner with Whitireia New Zealand http : / / www.whitireia.ac.nz / Pages / home.aspx to offer a comprehensive introduction toMental Health, Addictions and Intellectual Disability Nursing.

    This partnership enables you to complete a Postgraduate Certificate inNursing (Mental Health) or a Postgraduate certificate in speciality care by the end of theProgramme.
