We are looking for Training and Service Improvement Managerto join our Cleaning Services in a permanent full-time capacity.

Our cleaningteam operates over three sites, Starship Children’s Health, Auckland CityHospital and Greenlane Clinical Centre.

We recognise that a clean and hygienic environment is a keyelement impacting patient outcomes and recovery. As an experienced trainingmanager you will be responsible for the :

  • Development, delivery and evaluation of training programmesfor the cleaning teams and other services under the Patient Management Servicesportfolio
  • Development, delivery and evaluation of quality systems andprocesses
  • Training and quality audits to identify areas of focus

  • Ideally, you will have a tertiary qualification in adulttraining / teaching with more than five years’ experience in a similar role,not necessarily in the health sector or in the cleaning industry but with asuccessful track record of delivering adult training and managing qualityimprovement processes.

    To be successful in this role, you will :

  • Have experience in design and delivery of training programsfor new systems and procedures for large teams where the consequences ofnon-performance is high
  • Have demonstrated ability to develop and deliver qualitysystems and processes
  • Be able to identify and implement improvements andinnovation on an ongoing basis
  • Be comfortable training a multicultural workforce group
