We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and hard working Kitchen Steward (Kitchen Porter) to join the experienced, hard working and fun kitchen brigade in Conventions.
As a Steward, your responsibilities will involve stacking dishwashers, cleaning fridges, floors, removing rubbish and other ad hoc kitchen duties.
To be successful in this role you will ideally have previous kitchen hand experience or have exposure to a kitchen environment, display fantastic teamwork and have flexibility to work various shifts.
Previous Chemical Handling or Cleaning and Sanitising qualifications would be advantageous. Strong teamwork is essential in this fast-
paced kitchen and due to the nature of working in a dynamic events environment, there is a lot of variety across our shift patterns and hours of work can vary, so flexibility will be key.
The ability to work across a variety of venues across Auckland is required.
