Due to recent expansion and growth, Datacom Connect are seeking an experienced Human Resources Advisor to support our contact centre operations based in Modbury.

As part of a larger people and culture function, you will have the opportunity to specialise and hone your skills in workplace relations, WHS and employee engagement.

About the Role :

  • Supporting employees and managers in addressing workplace relations issues and requests for support
  • Producing and maintaining appropriate policies and employee contracts
  • Providing direct end-to-end specialist support on employee relations and performance management matters
  • Ensuring employees are remunerated on time and accurately
  • Supporting employee engagement through the provision of specialist employment relations advice to employees and management
  • Enabling employees and their managers to excel or improve through the ongoing oversight of a program to support our people.
  • About You :

  • Relevant qualification in Human Resources (or a related field), and / or equivalent experience.
  • Good HR generalist knowledge with experience in industrial relations practices and processes, and the demonstrated ability to interpret, advise on and apply the relevant industrial instruments in the workplace
  • The ability to act quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to provide pro-active advice and support to the managers within the business, particularly on performance matters.
  • Demonstrated ability to use initiative and judgment in resolving problems
  • High level communication skills, with the ability to negotiate with and influence key stakeholders
  • Excellent written skills with strong attention to detail - e.g. policy development, documents for external jurisdictions;
  • contract preparation and performance management documentation.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Australian Citizenship and ability to pass a police clearance is essential for this role
