Are you a Civil or Environmental Engineer who already has some experience in stormwater design and water management? This will appeal to someone wanting a change, working for an NZ employee owned firm with a well-

This is an ideal opportunity to increase your experience in :
Solving water management issues for industrial and commercial clients;
Resolving flooding and water quality problems;
Using stormwater modelling software such as HEC;
Assessment of water resources;
Obtaining resource consents, and
Designing and building infrastructure
This role will suit an intermediate level Civil Engineers with a background in 3 Waters. You will be working on high end projects through the whole project lifecycle working alongside some great engineers and scientists.
In this role you will be working on a variety of projects where you will be involved with :
Stormwater and civil infrastructure design.
Water and environmental assessments erosion and sediment control, stormwater modelling, flooding and overland flow, water resource availability, soakage.
Preparing resource consent applications and liaising with Regional Council staff. Technical report writing.
You will likely hold a degree in Civil, Environmental Engineering or Natural Resources with at least 2+ years post graduate experience in :
Design of wastewater treatment plants and / or stormwater infrastructure, pump stations, pipelines and land disposal systems for industrial and municipal water or wastewater projects.
Civil works design.
Hydrological and hydraulic analysis
Stormwater modelling using packages such as HEC
AutoCAD, 12d, GIS skills would be useful.
Supervision of investigation and construction of works.
Working knowledge of relevant guidelines and legislation, including the Resource Management Act.
