Tetra Pak New Zealand is experiencing significant growth and as a result of this we are looking for a mechanical engineer to work with our materials handling team in Hamilton.
In this role you will be responsible for assisting with the mechanical engineering design for our upcoming milk powder projects, along with the automation and function descriptions to accompany this.
This role will also involve performing design and drawing of PID's, fabrication, layout, pipework and as-built drawings within projects.
The ideal candidate must have qualifications in Mechanical or Process Engineering and relevant experience in the dry food processing industry, preferably in the dairy, juice and soft drink segments.
You will have excellent project management skills and be able to work autonomously.
You will also play a key role in the installation and commissioning of these projects, which will involve some travel.
