About the Opportunity

As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, you will be responsible for leading and growing Calibre’s presence and reputation across the Northern region of New Zealand while working with the ELT on the company’s wider business objectives.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of senior management experience and the ability to deliver significant change within a complex working environment.

You will also have highly developed leadership skills and the personal credibility to work with stakeholders to achieve the aims and objectives of the region.

You will provide regional leadership in strategic planning, business development, project delivery, collaboration, performance, governance, quality, workforce planning, partnership development, financial sustainability and our technical capabilities in the region.

With offices in Auckland, Tauranga and Hamilton, this is a chance to make the role your own and really make a difference to the performance of the Northern Region.

Key duties :

In this role, you will be required to

  • work collectively and collaboratively, interacting with internal and external clients to form strong relationships and further opportunities for market growth and positioning
  • lead and actively participate in business and strategic planning activities in order to identify opportunities to sustain the growth of the business in the short, medium and longer term
  • work closely with sector leaders (SL’s) at a national level, and regionally with your business unit leaders (BULs) to develop high performing teams, delivering value to their clients whilst providing a culture of engagement and accountability within the team.
  • be instrumental in promoting collaboration across teams, including cross-selling of services to clients and a One Calibre’ approach.
  • Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience :

  • Extensive experience at a senior management level in a consulting or professional services environment with sound experience across operations, finance, HR and governance
  • Track record of creating and developing highly effective teams
  • Strong commercial acumen when identifying, capturing and delivering opportunities
  • A strategic thinker with skills in devising and implementing a business strategy and vision across short, medium and long term timeframes.
  • Strong record of delivering financial plans and service improvement programmes.
