Bay of Plenty District Health Board 0.5 FTE (40 hours per fortnight) We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with a passion for working in partnership with patients to navigate their cancer journey.
In this role you will demonstrate compassion and effective coordination of patients with high suspicion of cancer from referral through to initiation of first treatment.
You will partner with Clinical Nurse Specialists and other health professionals to ensure safe and evidence-based delivery of care for patients and families.
The Specialty Clinical Nurse coordinates the patient journey within the Faster Cancer Treatment Pathway utilising a model of patient and family / whanau centered care.
