To ensure that it continues to produce the highest quality product in an efficient and sustainable manner, the business requires a Quality Engineer, who will help drive quality and compliance by developing and implementing the performance programs.

About the role

Your core function is to guarantee the customers needs are always met through ensuring the quality of the products at all stages of the manufacturing process from raw materials through to finished goods.

As the Quality Engineer you will :

  • Support the Team in continuation of the Company?s quality journey.
  • Guide teams to identify and then resolve opportunities for improvement across all levels of the business.
  • Demonstrate leadership and assist teams in delivering projects in full and on time to contribute value to the company and its customers.
  • Build solid relationships and Engage at all levels, thus creating well informed and motivated teams focused on a shared goal of quality and excellence.
  • Inspire others with your passion for quality initiatives and their ongoing progress.
  • Lead auditing and performance tracking, provide quality status reports for both internal and external communications, including metric based accomplishments of the transformational plan.
  • Think Strategically ? ensuring that quality activities link into overall business strategies and objectives.
  • Skills & Experience

    We seek individuals who can demonstrate success and achievements, engaging teams in quality and positive culture change.

    You will ideally possess :

  • A tertiary qualification in mechanical, industrial manufacturing engineering or engineering trade?s qualification.
  • 5+ year?s relevant experience in a manufacturing environment with a minimum of 1-2 years application of quality tools.
  • Experience Implementing quality tools across an organisation, involving identifying value adding activities, improving work flows, eliminating non-
  • value adding activities.

  • Ability to communicate to all stakeholders, offering guidance and training to achieve quality.
  • Strong problem solving skills, be analytically minded, have sound project management skills and be outcome driven.
