We are looking for someone to fill the position of IT Help Desk Analyst, working on a 6 - month fixed term contract located at our Corporate Office in Queen Street Auckland as part of the IT team.

Reporting to the Director of IT, the main purpose of the role is to log IT incidents and requests, perform first level resolution and management of all IT incidents and requests through to resolution.

We are seeking applications from individuals who are entitled to work in New Zealand and who possess the following :

  • Previous Help Desk / Service Desk experience highly advantageous
  • IT qualification preferred
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Operating systems and products
  • Above average hardware skills
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Exchange, Anti Virus, AD and DHCP
  • Solid conceptual understanding of Citrix and Virtualisation
  • Good understanding of networking (LAN & WAN)
  • Previous exposure to Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) highly desirable
  • In addition, the successful candidate will be someone with the following attributes :

  • Excellent communication skills, especially verbal due to most calls being logged via phone
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to follow process
  • Good time management, organisational and co-ordination skills
  • Ability to work independently or in a team
  • Customer service outlook with both internal users and 3rd parties
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Prepared to provide after - hours support if required
  • High standards of delivery
  • Previous customer service experience is preferred and a familiarity with the hospitality industry would be an advantage.
