Our competitive swim programme is rapidly expanding and we are looking for an energetic individual to assist the Head Coach in taking our programmes to the next level! Coming from a coaching, teaching, or swimming background, you will combine your leadership ability with a love for the water and a passion for helping our swimmers improve their skills.
As the Assistant Swim Coach, you will assist the Head Coach with coaching delivery, class management, assessment of swimmers and skill development.
We need you to engage your students, inspire confidence and develop talent.
What you’ll need to succeed :
This is a part-time position offering 20 hours per week. The right applicant will have the opportunity to pick up Learn to Swim and / or Lifeguard hours.
It is preferable that the successful applicant holds a Swim Education Qualification and First Aid Certificate, though training and development will also be provided.
This position is an ideal opportunity for an individual ready to kick start their career in leadership. You will be working with an experienced Silver Level Head Coach in a well-
established, successful and steady growing programme. Ideally the successful applicant will be available to start work at the beginning of Term 3 (week beginning July 23).
