The Executive Assistant - Customer Service / Community Resilience provides high-level confidential aide and personal assistance to the Group Manager -
Customer Service / Community Resilience as well as administrative support to the teams within this department; Maritime, Civil Defence Emergency Management, Transport and Customer Service.
This role also provides secretarial support to the Regional Transport Committee, Civil Defence Emergency Management Group and Coordinating Executive Group's.
The position is based in the sub-tropical city of Whangarei, about two hours' drive north of Auckland.
What you will bring
You will be a proficient user of the Microsoft Suite, in particular Microsoft Outlook and diary management. You will have the ability to work well under pressure and can handle confidential or controversial information with discretion and professionalism.
You will ideally have experience in a similar role and proven experience in administration, secretarial assistance and the running of meetings and taking minutes.
Experience and understanding in working for local government would be of advantage.
