We’re looking for an experienced Vet Nurse who shares our vision and passion to make the world a better place through the love of pets by caring for their health and wellbeing to join our Wellington clinics (Kaiwharawhara, Khandallah, Miramar and Petone)

The Vetcare Group is NZ’s fastest growing vet clinic network with 17 companion animal clinics nationwide and we want you to be part of it! Partnered with Animates and Greencross Vets we offer a unique network to meet the needs of pets.

You will have the opportunity to make a difference to the lives of pets on a national level and be part of a team of professionals that are working together to provide the best and most innovative care for our patients.

To be successful you will need the following skills and expertise :

  • Be a fully qualified Vet nurse;
  • Have at least 1 year of practical experience working in a veterinary clinic;
  • A sound knowledge and understanding of high standards of care;
  • Ability to work collaboratively with fellow team members and build rapport with clients;
  • Superb customer service skills;
  • Exceptional organisation and communication skills, and;
  • A positive and friendly attitude.

  • The position is casual and applicants must be flexible and able to work up to 40 hours per week and in any of the clinics so need own transport.
