The Organisation

Camp Quality NZ is a charitable organisation dedicated to bringing fun, hope and happiness to children living with cancer through the delivery of high quality recreational activities and camps.

The Role

This is a newly created position for a hands-on GM who, in partnership with the Board and reporting to the Chair, will be responsible for the sustainable success and growth of Camp Quality and the achievement of the Strategic Plan?s Vision and Mission.

Key responsibilities will include :

  • Leadership, both strategic and hands on
  • Managing direct reports, including volunteers
  • Marketing and Communications
  • Partnership Development
  • Fundraising
  • Financial Management
  • Person Specification

    The successful candidate will have at least 5 years? experience in a senior management role reporting to a board, with experience of marcomms and fundraising in the NFP / Charitable sector and an appropriate tertiary qualification.

    You will need maturity and empathy along with outstanding communication and leadership skills, exceptional relationship management skills and the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders from volunteers to board members.

    We?re looking for an outstanding candidate with a passion for this work, who can manage change.Someone with strategic vision who is also happy to be hands-

    on and across Camp Quality?s day to day operations.

    This role is a initially home based - Auckland preferred, with a salarycirca $100k.
