We are seeking anexperienced Occupational Therapist to join our Puawai Midland RegionalCommunity Forensic Service. You will work within amulti-

disciplinary team both in the prison and community settings.

We are look for someone whohas the following skills :

  • Abilityto work autonomously, as well as part of a team.
  • Experienceof working collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Exceptionalcommunication and interpersonal skills.
  • Well-developedskills in comprehensive and mental health and riskassessment. Forensic experience is preferable.
  • Skillsin effective documentation of clinical assessments and interventions, includingformulation.
  • Astrong recovery focus and a sensitivity of cultural aspects of mental healthand the ability to apply the Treaty of Waitangi principles into practice.
  • Apositive and flexible attitude.
