We are looking for energetic, hardworking and enthusiastic individuals to aid in our kitchen operations at the Hermitage Hotel.
Experience is desirable but not essential, Your CV and referees will show a proven record of commitment, hard worker, and someone that is ready to take on a challenging but essential role.
If you are energetic, learn quickly, and willing to always give your best, you will do well. You will need a strong sense of personal and professional hygiene as you will be working in a food environment.
You should be physically fit, as this is a physically demanding role, and enjoy being part of a team
You will be working within a team of 8 other kitchen stewards, in any one of our three kitchens. Tasks include washing of dishes, pots / pan etc, cleaning of equipment, floors and other areas as required, assisting in maintaining hygiene standards throughout the kitchens.
This is a seasonal position from September to May; we will commit to providing you with opportunities to improve on your current skills and knowledge, in return we require a commitment from you for the season with the possibility of continued employment and education for the right person with the right attitude.
This is a great position for someone thinking about becoming a chef and wanting experience in a commercial kitchen environment, or for over the summer.
