Reporting to Project Manager, key areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to :
Provide technical support by identifying the root cause and determine corrective actions on-site or remote service in any of the following service category (installation & commissioning;
maintenance; repairs; engineering & consulting; advanced services; extensions, upgrades and retrofits; end of life services, replacements.
Participate in maintenance meetings and improvement activities to proactively provide suggestions for product and quality improvement.
Prepare required documents and reports for project contracts to be signed by the customer representative.
Finish work in a timely manner and provide relevant technical supporting documents to the service execution teams and follows up when needed.
Apply safety rules and safe practices as well as environmental responsibilities. Reports unsafe practices and incidents.
The ideal candidate will come with a minimum 3-4 years’ experience in the electrical industry with some knowledge of MV / HV industry preferred.
Your service background and proven experience with project work will highlight your technical capability in addition to, your focus on delivering quality on-
site service in any of the service categories mentioned above. You should be aware, this role requires frequent travel all over the South Island, and although most work is pre-
planned at times it is with short notice.
Electrical registration is mandatory or a NZ recognized qualification equivalent.
Company vehicle will be provided to a full driver’s license holder.
Must be capable of undertaking heavy work, and demonstrated experience working at heights is required.
