We are seeking an energetic, motivated, caring and empathetic Healthcare Assistant to join our friendly and vibrant team in Ward 31.
The role involves working in a busy ward supporting registered nurses within your scope of practice.This is an excellent opportunity to join a great team environment where there will be a full orientation program provided, as well as on-going support.
You will be an experienced Health Care Assistant with a Level 3 or Level4 Health Support Assistant certificate preferably from Manukau Institute of Technology / Unitec.
You'll be a confident communicator, able to interact with different people and cultures as well as being a team player. Ability to organise and prioritise your workload is essential.
This role also involves assisting on other wards around the hospital as required in order to provide safe patient care. This role also involves ordering and management of supplies.
Ability to understand flow of supplies and a computer based ordering systems is a part of this role.

This is a full time, permanent position, working 40 hours per week fully rostered shifts.
