We're looking for a talented and experienced Senior Business Analyst to join the Continuous Improvement team at Mercury.

This is a newly created role that has been established to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the Retail Operations back end processes to help increase customer satisfaction, revenue and eliminate waste.

The role will be responsible for leading continuous improvement activities including process mapping, completing root cause analysis, designing and implementing specific changes, and identifying future improvement opportunities.

A varied and busy role, your remit will include :

  • Identifying, capturing and achieving operational and strategic improvement opportunities
  • Driving the documentation of current processes, root cause analysis and identifying / prioritizing opportunities and pain points
  • Coaching and mentoring team members in best practice continuous improvement methodologies - including process documentation and design
  • Leading and participating in business process improvement workshops, utilizing appropriate process improvement techniques and methodologies
  • Owning and delivering improvement projects into an operational business environment, ensuring business benefits are realised through effective change management
  • Reporting on the performance of key processes and teams, to assist in identifying improvement opportunities and tracking of benefits from process improvements
  • To be considered for this role, you must demonstrate;
  • Proven experience in business process design and improvement
  • Experience with Operational and Management Reporting
  • Advanced computer skills including, but not limited to the Microsoft Suite (Excel, Visio, Word, PowerPoint, Access).
  • A working knowledge of relational databases, sql, and business intelligence tools would be an advantage
  • Strong relationship management and communication skills
  • Knowledge and implementation of change using change management techniques / disciplines
  • Experience with process design tools
