We are a division of ATEED (Auckland Tourism, Events and Economic Development) who plays a critical role in driving the Auckland region's economic wellbeing and supports and enhances the ability of the region to compete internationally.
ACB is recruiting a key role and is seeking a highly motivated Manager Business Development . In this role, you will spearhead the Business Development team to increase Auckland's market share of business events and deliver significant economic benefit for Auckland and our stakeholders.
The Manager Business Development will lead a team to execute sales initiatives in New Zealand and internationally, to contribute to the delivery of the Destination AKL 2025 strategy and ATEED's aligned Business Events Plan.
As a senior manager you will set the direction and oversee all sales and business development activity and processes including large scale bids and RFPs.
This includes collaboration to develop compelling marketing strategies. Working with the Head of ACB, you will also develop strategic partnerships with key industry stakeholders and clients.
