About this Role :
As you will be responsible for providing support to the Financial Controller to ensure timely and accurate accounting throughout the finance function.
The role covers key areas in Management and Financial reporting, Budgeting, Forecasting and Analysis, and Financial Control.
Key Responsibilities :
Assist with internal monthly management and year-end external reporting for all OPAC Companies, joint ventures and joint operations
Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts, cashflow and annual financial statements, month-end and year-end reporting
Compiling the annual budget, regular forecasts and financial reviews
Assisting and preparing data for external audits
Project work and support to Finance function
Key Requirements :
Part qualified or studying towards a tertiary level accounting qualification
2+ years practical accounting experience and preferably in a process or manufacturing environment
A good understanding of financial and management accounting principles and practices
Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
Experience with ERP systems and experience with Greentree accounting desirable
We are looking for someone with strong interpersonal and communication skills, a great team player, good attention to detail and accuracy and likes to think analytically.
You will be professional and comfortable presenting financial information to non-financial managers and staff.
