    We're looking for a Transaction Transition Manager to join our Wellington-based Transaction Banking team to support our Corporate & Commercial banking clients.

    As a Transaction Transition Manager, you will play a pivotal role focused on the successful and seamless transition of a high value, complex customer group to ASB.

    What you will do

  • You will be the project lead and work with internal teams to manage the transition of our Corporate & Commercial client's transaction banking relationships over to ASB;
  • ensuring a smooth transition. This means you will have a project management approach to each transition, from initial scope to understand requirements through to formulating the project definitions, requirements and timeframes;
  • managing key internal stakeholders and partners throughout the process to ensure timeframes are met, a smooth transition process occurs and that the customer has had an unbeatable service experience.

    What we are looking for

    To be successful in this role, you will have an innate ability to quickly establish and build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

    Your proven success leading projects (or managing their implementation) either within banking or the professional services industry will enable you to scope, plan and on-

    board new customers effectively through your understanding of the project management framework and lifecycle. Ideally, you'll have a working knowledge of process improvement methodology (for example SixSigma although this is not essential), as you'll look to constantly challenge the status quo -

    you'll be expected to not only have a say on how we transition new customers, but also how we manage them on an on-going basis.
