About the role

Our Christchurch Distribution Group have an opportunity for an Electrical Supervisor to join our Distribution team to lead teams of Electrical Fitters, Cable Jointers and trainees, and contribute to projects throughout the Christchurch high voltage distribution network.

Reporting to the Project Coordinator this role has a strong collaborative focus working across Broadspectrum, together with other key stakeholders.

Skills and experience

  • Preferably 5 years work experience post qualification / apprenticeship
  • High Voltage experience within the Distribution industry.
  • Qualifications

  • New Zealand EWRB registered / Current practicing licence and relevant Trade Qualification
  • Full New Zealand driver’s licence (Class 1, manual)
  • Responsibilities

    Leading and developing your team while actively monitoring quality control, escalating as appropriate, always keeping in mind a view to continuous improvement, ensuring financial control and the completion of reporting and administration requirements.

    Your focus will also ensure all equipment is maintained to the required standard, escalating as appropriate together with monitoring service schedules while making sure that health and safety is the first priority at all times.
