Fletcher Construction are part of Fletcher Building, a diversified global building industry company that is working on the Commercial Bay development consisting of the main tower (40 levels), retail spaces and CRL rail tunnels passing through the site.
Based in the heart of Auckland’s CBD, this project is reaching the fit out stage and we are looking to expand our commercial team.
This is an exciting opportunity for the right person. This is a project based opportunity for the next 18 months. The Buildability Coordinator acts as a conduit between the professional design team and the construction team.
This role is principally that of the provision of expertise within the field of building and design technology and includes the following specialist skills.
elements and compliance with standards and regional building code / regulation.
Previous experience may be as an Architectural Technician, Engineering Technician / Technologist or a trades background (time-
served) constructor. Ideally you will have a tertiary qualification in Architectural / Building / Engineering Technology plus five years professional experience, or 10+ years trades background (site based coordination role).
Note : this is a fixed term contract until the completion of the project; estimated December 2019. To be successful you will have NZ Residency or have a valid NZ work visa.
