We are looking for the ideal person to take on the permanent part time role of Operations Officer in Wairoa's much-loved Gaiety Theatre.
State-of-the art digital technology and surround sound systems will enable both blockbuster movies and arthouse films to be screened on the Theatre's magnificent 14 metre by 6 metre screen, and the Theatre will also be available to host events such as film festivals and stage shows by travelling performers, local schools concerts and other community groups.
Reporting to the Gaiety Manager, this 20 hours per week permanent position requires a self-driven and passionate movie lover, who enjoys working with people, is not afraid of hard work and is interested in supporting events.
The ability to work outside of normal business hours, including weekends and evening is essential.
