Auckland District Health Board has an outstanding Strategy,Participation and Improvement team comprised of people with a range ofbackgrounds and skills in facilitating change.
Within this team we have AraManāwa that brings design capability into AucklandDHB. Designers in this team work with patients, families, clinical staffand many other stakeholders to create solutions.
They provide the designcapability to understand needs, create and prototype solutions, and implementnew designs within our large and complex organisation.
The work we domakes a real difference to the people we serve. It helps us to provideservices that are world-class and which make the best use of healthresources.
We are currently seeking additional capability in Design UX for digitalsolutions. Ideally candidates will have a tertiary design qualification and atleast five years’ experience in Mobile and Web app development.
Some knowledgeof robotic process automation, smart forms, and work flow would be of value. Thisrole will work with product and spatial designers to support design ledinitiatives across a range of projects whilst owning the design outcome fordigital solutions developed with patients, whānau and staff.

Designers within Ara Manāwa also need to havegood leadership skills, be able to bring their creative and criticalproblem-

Strong human centred design research skills are necessaryfor gathering and analysing both quantitative and qualitative data.
