For over 130 years, Harrison Grierson has been engineering the future of New Zealand, making our mark on tomorrow - one project at a time.
We'd describe ourselves as determined, accountable and everything we do is done with integrity. Our clients are at the centre of what we do, we build a sound understanding of their needs and deliver creative solutions.
The size of our organisation is something our employees love; we're not too big or too small so you quickly become an integral part of the business.
As we grow, so too does the talented team of people around us. This includes our Infrastructure team.
It's fair to say that our exceptional people are at the heart of our success.
That's where you come in
We're looking for an Infrastructure Team Leader to join our Christchurch office.
As one of New Zealand's leading engineering and design consultancies we are currently delivering a number of innovative projects around the country.
You'll have at least 5 years' experience in leading the delivery of infrastructure projects and have an established local network with Councils and suppliers.
It is important that you enjoy client interaction and meeting deadlines as these are an integral part of the role. You'll ideally be a Chartered Member of Engineering NZ (CPEng).
What you'll be doing
In this role you will use your technical knowledge to lead the team to deliver our three waters and urban infrastructure projects in the South Island, as well as supporting our national capability.
As Team Leader, you'll be providing people and technical leadership, maintaining direct relationships with our existing clients and expanding our client base through your established networks.
What can we offer?
We're committed to investing in our people to create a high-performing team. As well as a competitive remuneration package we will develop and mentor you throughout your career.
We also give you the opportunity to work on a wide variety of multi-disciplinary projects, liaise with clients and project teams and assist with infrastructure projects across the South Island.
