We're looking for a Senior Security Consultant to join our Technology Risk practice, where you'll have responsibility for the successful delivery of engagement and management of staff and client relationships.
You'll also contribute to the growth of the business through identification of new business opportunities.
To be successful in this role, you'll have a broad range of cyber security skills in areas such as : security architecture, including cloud security architecture, security risk management, cyber incident response, certification and accreditation, security governance and management.
Be Exceptional :
Provide specialist advice to clients on cyber security risks and solutions
Coordinate and direct assignments in a manner that meets client timelines, budget and outcome requirements
Negotiate and deliver on client expectations
Assess engagement risks and manage identified risks
Develop terms of reference for clients that outline objectives and key risks
Identify and proactively respond to new business opportunities to provide added value to clients
Coach, develop and support staff in the delivery of services
Be KPMG :
At least seven years’ relevant IT security assurance and advisory experience in a cyber security consulting or advisory role across a variety of operational and technical disciplines.
Current knowledge of the cyber-threat landscape and attack schemes, as well as defences organisations can deploy to protect themselves
Proven business development experience in the local market, and a strong understanding of security in the New Zealand public sector
Experience in the end-to-end management of consulting engagements, including resourcing, task planning, budgeting, monitoring, and building and maintaining effective client relationships
Fluency in English, and ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
You'll have professional qualifications such as :
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
SABSA (Sherwood Applied Business Security Architecture) Chartered Security Architect
Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC)
Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)
Membership of relevant professional bodies, such as ISACA, Cloud Security Alliance and (ISC)2.
