Who we are

We are a specialist team who work across a variety of platforms and technologies, providing software support for the eLearning tools used by staff and students at the University of Otago.

We have a great work culture and relish opportunities to provide great customer services, by way of implementing new services and working with staff and students to find design solutions.

About the Role

You will support, implement and maintain a portfolio of eLearning applications, systems and services that are sustainable, resilient and agile to meet the current and changing needs of the University.

A strong client focussed orientation providing excellent service delivery is critical to success in this role.

Accountabilities include :

  • Providing expert advice to staff and students about eLearning tools and services.
  • Providing end-user support, documentation and help resource.
  • Researching, evaluating and reporting on new services.
  • Contributing to the maintenance and upgrading of existing services.
  • Your Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in IT support where high levels of customer service delivery are expected.
  • Experience of working in a higher education environment would be preferable.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team and take a solution focussed approach.
  • We offer the chance to work across a wide-range of interesting tasks & projects and the opportunity to design solutions to issues.
