As part of asmall team of multi-disciplinary technicians you will be working across a rangeof trades areas to provide building services support to Middlemore Hospital.
You willfulfill an important role in ensuring the building and engineering servicesfunction to a high standard. You will operate, troubleshoot andmaintain a wide variety of building services and specialist hospital services.
You will have the support and assistance of the trade’s workshops.
The workinvolves a wide variety of systems such as Lamson tube, Nurse call systems,emergency generators, medical gas systems, BMS, Chiller units, air conditioningas well as general building services.
The wide variety of work willensure an interesting work environment.
The positionwould suit registered electricians who also have a mechanical aptitude or airconditioning personnel who have full electrical registration.
Some HVswitching experience would be an advantage. Training will be provided inspecialist areas to enable you to undertake your duties.
Yourmaintenance or repair experience in a hospital environment or maintainingbuilding services on a large campus would be an advantage.
Goodcommunication skills and ability to work with minimum supervision is required.
This is afull time position and he hours are 7.30 to 4pm Monday to Friday, plusparticipation in a call-out roster.
