Applications are open for Biodiversity Monitoring Ranger vacancies based in Hokitika, Invercargill and Palmerston North.
There are four positions available and it is desired to have a spread across each of the three locations, however location is negotiable with the successful candidates.
These are full time positions, working 40 hours per week with the length of contract being three years.
You will collect biodiversity monitoring data from a wide range of sites and projects with a focus on the national tiered biodiversity monitoring programme.
You will be part of a national team and may have responsibilities that extend beyond the location where you reside.
We are looking for enthusiastic Rangers with the following skills / experience :

Put simply, these are all technical monitoring roles that spend a large proportion of time in the field visiting a large number of different sites.
A tertiary qualification or equivalent experience and achievements in science or natural heritage management are desirable.
Eligibility to work in New Zealand is mandatory, including a valid work visa covering the whole period of employment if applying internationally.
