The opportunity

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology is currently seeking a dynamic and efficient Group Services Coordinator, to provide academic administrative support in a demanding and rewarding environment by managing relationships, information and processes to achieve results.

  • You’ll provide executive support to an Academic Head.
  • You’ll also provide coordination for finance and human resource processes to a well-established and growing department.
  • In addition, you’ll provide administrative coordination to staff and students for teaching and learning activities.
  • Who are we looking for?

    To succeed in this role, you will need the following skills and experience :

  • 3-5 years’ administration experience, ideally gained in a tertiary environment. You’ll need to be fully proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, and knowledge of the PeopleSoft HR and Finance systems would be a distinct advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and an immaculate attention to detail, with excellent organisational skills and the ability to effectively manage a busy workload under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, as you will be working collaboratively as part of a high-
  • performing team, with an outstanding customer focus for the school’s key stakeholders.

    An understanding of University processes and / or the tertiary education sector would also be valuable.

    This is a full time and permanent position, based at our Grafton Campus. Professional Staff Level 4.
