We are seeking a Senior Food Technologist and an Intermediate Food Technologist with experience in developing new meat products and improving existing lines, to become important members of the Heller’s team.
Reporting to the Technical Manager in the Kaiapoi plant near Christchurch, you will boost food technology capability through your technical expertise, and gain satisfaction from seeing your product concepts translate into production volumes, and onto supermarket shelves.
Identifying and implementing process improvement is also a requirement for this role.
Your Skills and Experience
It is essential you have a tertiary qualification in food technology or food science, and relevant career experience in meat or protein food development.
You will have worked as part of a team to help manage new product succession from concept to launch. The ability to work seamlessly with a wide range of people across the organisation is important.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail will help you succeed, as will an ability to demonstrate initiative.
