ABOUT THE COMPANY

Capital and Coast DHB (CCDHB) is located centrally in Wellington and has the equivalent of around 4,300 full time staff, making us a major employer in the Wellington region.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Senior Medical Radiation Technologist (MRI) is a key member of our vibrant, dynamic and dedicated Radiology team who provide tertiary and acute on call services with new Siemens 3T Skyra and 1.

5T Aera scanners at Wellington Hospital. The MRI department prides itself on being a friendly and progressive work environment focused on professional development and role extension.

DUTIES

  • Provide High Quality Diagnostic Images
  • Support the Unit Charge MRT
  • Support and give direction to MRTs and student MRTs
  • SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Registration as an MRT with the NZ Medical Radiation Technologists Board (or have eligibility - if you are an overseas applicant, please visit the MRT Board for further information)
  • Current practising certificate
