  • A fantastic position has become available for a highly creative, passionate marketer to work on one of New Zealand’s most famous wine brands, Church Road.

    This is a unique opportunity to demonstrate solid brand marketing skills, entrepreneurial attitude and teamwork to make an impact developing a global business.

    You will be responsible for leading global brand building projects, consistent with our identified strategic priorities.

    Specific responsibilities include :

  • Brand strategy and planning : establish brand strategies in conjunction with the marketing manager and Marketing Director.
  • Portfolio management for key ranges : including positioning, portfolio strategy, NPD, pack development, pricing and value creation as well as working with operations and winemaking to optimise the wine offerings.
  • Communications development : developing positioning, creating impactful & innovative global communications across touchpoints including digital, sponsorships, brand experiences.
  • Extensive agency and stakeholder management experience is essential, with a proven ability to get best work out of internal and external partners within budget and on time.

    To be successful in this role, you will have :

  • Tertiary qualifications in marketing, commerce, arts or communications
  • Minimum 5 years brand management or marketing experience
  • Highly creative with proven end-to-end creative development experience across channels
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and initiative
  • Proven strategic and analytical abilities
  • Experience in developing NPD and product realisation
  • Excellent finance / budget management skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Well organised and able to work autonomously can handle complex projects, competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • High level of self-motivation, energy and a bias for action
