The Risk and Compliance Office is responsible for integrating and embedding risk management across ACC. We have a new role for a Senior Compliance Advisor to help us achieve this.

In this role you'll work closely with the business to ensure ACC's enterprise risk management framework is embedded in our operational processes and practices.

What will you be doing?

You will be responsible for leading the delivery of a comprehensive compliance programme, including the following :

  • Develop and maintain a compliance policy and framework
  • Drive the completion of compliance related action items throughout the organisation
  • Actively work with the business to support compliance with legislation, regulations and internal policies
  • Enable awareness of legal obligations and requirements arising under internal policies across the organisation
  • What can you bring to the role?

    As a minimum, you will need a comprehensive understanding of compliance, preferably in a financial services context, and experience in applying compliance methodologies, along with some or all of the following :

  • Proven experience applying project management skills or methodologies to a compliance programme.
  • Development and rollout of training materials to support awareness and maturity
  • Collaborative interpersonal skills
  • Resilience, you will need to be able to move forward even in difficult circumstances

  • Annual salary between $110k - $145k, depending on experience, plus 9% superannuation.
