The Waikato Regional Council are strong advocates on providing information on natural hazards and climate change that enable informed communities and good decision making.
The primary focus of the role within the wider Regional Hazards team is to ensure we have resilient communities within the Waikato Region as set out in the Council's Strategic Direction.

The successful applicant will be highly motivated, understand both the detail and big picture, and have the confidence to converse with a wide range of people.
You will have a relevant tertiary qualification and be familiar with relevant legislation, statutory documents and processes.
Relevant practical experience is essential. While a permanent role is preferred, we are open to a part time role for the right person.
