Wildbase is New Zealand's leading wildlife health centre, and Wildbase staff have an international reputation in avian medicine and surgery, conservation medicine, wildlife health and ecotoxicology.
The team is looking to appoint a Wildlife Technician on a permanent, full-time (37.5 hours / week) basis, to assist in the care of rehabilitating wildlife and permanent residents at Wildbase Recovery, a collaboration between the Palmerston North City Council and Massey University.
As a successful applicant, you will be able to demonstrate interest in avian and reptile health, conservation management, and / or wildlife husbandry.
You will also demonstrate a strong motivation to provide high standards of husbandry and will support positive welfare outcomes for sick and injured wildlife.
