Norling Law is a boutique law firm specialising in litigation and dispute resolution with a focus on commercial disputes, including a high volume of shareholder disputes, insolvency and restructuring, debt recovery and security enforcement.

Norling Law requires an Intermediate Litigation Lawyer (with 2 3 years PQE) to assist with increased demands in the practice.

Norling Law is based on the North Shore, Auckland.

You will be working with Brent Norling who established the practice and is an expert in his field. Brent authors works for both Thomson Reuters and LexisNexis and regularly appears various Courts in New Zealand but frequents the High Court and Court of Appeal.

The successful applicant will work with Brent closely.

  • Job responsibilities will include :

  • Resolving commercial disputes.
  • Review of matters and provision of advice and representation.
  • Drafting Court documents at all stages.
  • Appearances at various Court’s.
  • Applicants should detail their three biggest achievements during their legal careers. Applications should also detail their three biggest lessons during their legal career.

    Experience in the area we practice will be advantageous. However, we will consider candidates with other experience and / or the right attitude and ability to hit the ground running.
