The Auckland Regional Forensic Psychiatry Service, orthe Mason Clinic as it is often known, is the largest Forensic Mental HealthService in New Zealand.
We serve the four Northern District Health Boardsincluding all courts in the northern region and four prisons.
We deliver acomprehensive range of Forensic Mental Health Services, including secureinpatient acute and rehabilitation services which connect to communityrehabilitation services, services for offenders with an intellectual disability,culture specific programmes for Maori, court liaison and prison mental healthservices.
This includes a regionalservice to Northland Region Corrections Facility at Ngawha and Northland.

The Regional Forensic Prison Team employs experienced mental health nurses to work in the Auckland and Regional prisons, alongside our psychiatrists, social workers, cultural workers and clinical psychologists.

We continue to develop the services for the future and are looking to recruit a Registered Mental Health Nurse into a full FTE position.
In this role, you will provide nursing care of the highest quality in accordance with the Nursing Council of New Zealand scope of practice (Registered Nurse) and the WDHB Professional Development and Recognition Plan level 2, competent registered nurse.
