Wellington City Council has work underway to future proof our heritage-listed Town Hall and to provide a new music hub for the VUW School of Music and the NZSO.
We offer you the opportunity to work closely with one of our experienced Project Managers, on a key public project. As part of our Build Wellington team, you will be right at the forefront of key development projects that shape Wellington city for future generations.
In this role you will gain exposure to project coordination and reporting processes, and an insight into how public development projects are run and how to ensure all the relevant key stakeholders are included along the way.
This is a three year project that requires an experienced administrator to provide financial administration and timely reporting to our Project Manager and other Council business units.
For this role you will need to be energetic, adaptable, systematic and independent.
Although the position is typically office based, a significant part of your time may be spent on site.

The person that we are seeking will ideally have some exposure to the construction industry through working for a main or sub-
contractor, consultant or professional project management group.
