RCR Infrastructure have been awarded an Interim Project Alliance Agreement (IPAA) in partnership with WSP Opus for the Auckland City Rail Link (CRL) C7 Systems, Integration, Testing and Commissioning project.
This is New Zealand’s largest ever rail transport infrastructure project therefore we have a new opportunity for an Environmental Manager to join our team in the Auckland CBD.
Conduct regular site visits to maintain oversight of environmental performance across the project
Undertake on site monitoring where required (for example, noise, vibration and water quality)
Co-ordination of technical specialist support for contamination, ecology, noise and any other environmental disciplines during construction phase.
Carry out environmental investigations.
Develop and drive environmental programmes / community initiatives.
Ensure compliance with conditions of all Resource Management Act approvals.
Identify and communicate potential or existing problems which may affect the project
Engage with regulators and client representatives to provide external partners with confidence in environmental management.
Appropriate Environmental Management or equivalent degree
Knowledge of onsite environmental management
Knowledge of Resource Management Process
Understanding of local regulations and guideline documents for environmental control
Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Be a self-starter with the ability to work unsupervised
Strong attention to detail
Excellent planning and organisational skills
Ability to respond proactively to a changing work environment
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent computer skills MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook
