    The hotel offers 286 Guest Rooms and Suites, complimented by a variety of conference and meeting venues.

    As Business Development Manager - Corporate, you will report to the Director of Sales & Marketing. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining accounts and business for Stamford Plaza Auckland, with a specific focus on the Corporate market segment.

    To successfully fill this role, you will :

  • Have exceptional communication skills with the ability to negotiate and influence at all levels
  • Have an impeccable level of personal presentation
  • Have an ability to achieve and excel under pressure
  • Have an understanding of sales principles and their implementation
  • Have demonstrated new business development, relationship building and account management skills
  • Have a client-centric approach, committed to fully understanding needs in order to provide the most appropriate and effective solutions
  • Be motivated, driven and work with the highest level of integrity.
  • Be a committed team player, adopting collaborative work practices to achieve individual, team and organisational goals
  • Have an innovative and enthusiastic approach to challenges and problem solving.
  • It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions :

  • Knowledge of Hotel Property Management Systems including Opera and Delphi.
  • Previous experience in the same or similar role.
