Datacom Connect are currently seeking a Leadership Enablement and Development Manager to join our rapidly growing team at Modbury.

In this role you will guide, mentor, develop and enable employees within the LEAD program to develop a career with Datacom.

You will be accountable to internal stakeholders in ensuring the LEAD program is recruited at a quarterly basis and that the employees are taken through the required skills matrix and development goals are achieved.

As the Manager you will need to have strong communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate with different Department Managers, ensuring our people have the right behaviours and skills to be coached into a new role.

The LEAD program is instrumental in identifying development opportunities for our people at all levels, and preparing them for success when the next internal opportunity arises.

It’s for this reason that you will be proactive in reviewing the processes behind the program including communication strategies, and look for ways to continuously improve the program.

About the role :

  • Work in partnership with the Recruitment Manager for quarterly recruitment drives into the program including : Activation of LEAD recruitment and advertisement Interviewing potential candidates into the program
  • Own the development of the LEAD candidates from the recruitment / on boarding through to the handover of a permanent LEAD to Department Managers for ongoing development, including : Working with WFM for scheduling of off phone time in line with forecasting requirements Scheduling of training with the Learning and Development team to ensure ongoing skills development and tracking Creation and tracking of competency checklists for higher duties including working with Quality Assurance and Learning and Development on assessments and alignment checks for QA and other modules Monthly 1 : 1 sessions with the LEAD group including feedback sessions Reporting on progress of LEAD employees and progression in the business
  • Document and maintain processes and procedures for LEAD and the management of the program including an internal reference point for employees and Managers
  • Ongoing continuous improvement initiatives for the program communicated at an employee, Manager and Senior Management level.
  • About you :

  • Minimum 1 year experience in Quality, L&D or HR based role
  • Certificate IV Management (Leadership)
  • Knowledge of development planning and coaching principals
  • Knowledge of Quality Framework
  • Knowledge and experience within Contact centre operations
  • Knowledge of performance improvement strategies
  • A high level of verbal and written communication
  • Strong coaching skills
  • Excellent time management
  • Stakeholder management and ability to influence peers.
