We are currently seeking a full time Vascular Surgeon for one year fixed term contract within the department with the possibility of permanent tenure.
The vascular service at CM Health consists of four full time vascular surgeons within the Department of General Surgery which consists of 19 Specialist Surgeons.
There is excellent collegial relationship within the speciality and between other surgical and medical services. The role will involve managing the full spectrum of vascular disorders in both acute and elective settings.
and medical students. The service has access to new theatre facilities, modern wards & clinics. The service has its own vascular laboratory with three sonographers and full time vascular nurse specialist.
We provide a complete range of investigations and endovenous procedures which are performed at the Manukau Super Clinic.
Suitable applicants must have completed surgical training with experience in Vascular Surgery and be eligible to gain vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
